Q: What are things that should be thought of before hand or if in the design process:
A: Either you have an idea in mind or we can create a custom logo and/or a tagline for your business. New custom logos can either be an illustration type logo, a logo that includes a picture describing your business, or a text logo. What may help you decide what is best is to think about the different ways your business will utilize your new logo.
Q: I have an idea of a new logo but am not sure if its possible?
A: Anything is possible, but keep in mind with logos, the most effective business logos are those that are simply "put" and convey a clear message of what your business is all about. Sometimes logos that are created that are "too busy" are not quite as effective as something simpler. An effective logo is crisp, clear, and conveys the message of your business or gives your customers something to associate your business with.
Q: How does the Logo Process start or what type of information needs to be given?
A: ICS sends a custom logo design questionnaire. This questionnaire contains all the questions needed to start and create your new business logo.
Q: What types of file formats are available the new logo has been completed? I am not sure what I need for my business needs.
A: Not to worry, we have and can save your new business logo for any need you may have. All of our graphic design and logo work is vector based and created with the industry standard Adobe Illustrator CS. We provide your new logo in the following formats; AI, BMP, PNG, TIFF, JPEG, GIF, PNG, PDF, and EPS.
Q: We need our new custom logo for Web use (72 d.p.i.) and also for Print (300 d.p.i.) and also a black and white version of the logo. How much additional will all of this be with the new custom logo package?
A: Absolutely zero, zilch, none. We will provide your new custom logo in all of the formats listed above including the web use (72 d.p.i.), Print (300 d.p.i.), and a black and white version of the new logo.
Q: We are not sure what we want exactly for the new logo. We see that other companies sell custom logos and offer several different variations of logos with their packages. What does ICS offer as far as logo variations?
A: ICS creates logo variations in rounds. We start and complete round 1 of the logo variations, which contain 7 - 10 logo variations. You then evaluate these logos and if you see something you like, great, if not, we start round two and create new custom logos. We continue this process until you find something that your 110% happy with. We won't stop until your happy.
Q: How long will the custom logo design process take to complete?
A: This varies from client to client. Some clients know exactly the logo they want, others are not sure so it takes more time to create and evaluate the custom logos. Normally most logos take anywhere from 3 days to 2 weeks from start to finish.
Q: How do I receive the new custom logo files?
A: The files will all be transferred via email or can be downloaded directly from our server. As an option we offer all of your files loaded onto a compact disc (for an additional charge).
Q: Are there any hidden or extra charges?
A: The amount you pay up-front for the custom logo package is exactly what you pay. We don't charge extra for anything within the logo package. If any additional items were opted for, such as banners or several logo variations versus one logo there would be an additional fee.
Q: What type of payment forms do you accept?
A: We accept all of our on-line payments via Paypal.
Q: How do we communicate during the logo process?
A: All communications are via electronic mail, chat programs i.e..msn messenger, or if your more comfortable our designers can talk to you over the phone with a pre-arranged meeting time.
